At Active Health Clinic Glasgow, we believe that nutrition is the foundation of good health. Whether your goal is to improve energy levels, support recovery, manage a health condition, or optimise performance, our nutritionist services provide tailored, evidence-based guidance to help you achieve lasting results.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition. Our focus is on creating practical, sustainable strategies that fit your lifestyle—so you can feel better, move better, and perform at your best.

What Is a Nutritionist?
A nutritionist is a qualified professional who helps you understand how food affects your body, health, and performance. By assessing your current diet, lifestyle, and goals, a nutritionist provides personalised recommendations to improve your overall wellbeing.
At Active Health Clinic Glasgow, our approach goes beyond generic meal plans. We work with you to build realistic habits, educate you on your choices, and support long-term success.
How Our Nutritionist Service Can Help
Our nutrition support is designed to address a wide range of goals and health concerns.
-
Improve Energy & Daily Performance
If you often feel tired, sluggish, or struggle to maintain focus throughout the day, your nutrition could be a key factor. We help you optimise your diet to stabilise blood sugar levels, improve energy, and support productivity.
-
Support Exercise & Recovery
Nutrition plays a critical role in how your body performs and recovers. Whether you’re training regularly or just getting started, we can help you fuel your body properly—supporting muscle recovery, reducing fatigue, and improving results.
-
Weight Management
Our approach to weight management is focused on sustainability—not quick fixes. We help you build healthy habits that support gradual, long-term changes in body composition without restrictive dieting.
-
Digestive Health
Digestive issues such as bloating, discomfort, or irregular digestion can significantly impact quality of life. We work with you to identify potential triggers and improve gut health through practical dietary changes.
-
Support for Health Conditions
Nutrition can play an important role in managing a range of conditions, including:
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
- Type 2 diabetes
- Food intolerances
We provide guidance that complements medical care and supports overall health.
-
General Health & Wellbeing
Even if you don’t have a specific concern, improving your nutrition can lead to better sleep, mood, immune function, and long-term health.

Who Is This Service For?
Our nutritionist services are suitable for:
- Individuals looking to improve overall health

- People struggling with energy levels or fatigue
- Anyone wanting clear, practical nutrition advice
No matter your starting point, we meet you where you are and help you move forward.
Why Nutrition Matters
Nutrition affects every system in the body. The food you eat influences:
- Energy production
- Muscle repair and recovery
- Hormonal balance
- Immune function
- Mental clarity and mood
Poor nutrition can contribute to fatigue, slow recovery, and long-term health issues. On the other hand, a well-balanced diet can enhance nearly every aspect of your physical and mental wellbeing.

Common Challenges We Help Solve
Many people struggle with:
- Confusion from conflicting nutrition advice
- Lack of time to prepare healthy meals
- Difficulty staying consistent
- Restrictive diets that are hard to maintain
Our role is to simplify nutrition, remove the guesswork, and help you build habits that actually last.
A Sustainable Approach to Results
We focus on long-term change, not short-term fixes.
Rather than cutting out entire food groups or following strict plans, we help you:
- Build balanced meals
- Develop consistent eating habits
- Understand portion sizes
- Make better choices in everyday situations
This approach leads to results that are not only effective—but sustainable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I can’t thank Active Health Clinic enough for the help I’ve received. I went in with severe sciatica and the improvement after treatment, especially the dry needling, has been amazing. The relief has made a real difference to my day to day life.
A special thank you to Andrea for making me feel comfortable and at ease when I was nervous about the treatment. She took the time to explain everything and her calm, professional approach made the whole experience far easier than I expected.
I’m extremely grateful to the team and would highly recommend Active Health Clinic Glasgow to anyone dealing with pain or mobility issues.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Limped in to the clinic in September to see if they could help me.
I had chronic back pain and would have been happy with any level of improvement.
After my assessment and a massage and acupuncture session Rebecca gave me a series of exercises to strengthen the core muscles supporting my lower back.
I decided to go for it and although it was difficult to start with, once I had gone through the initial pain barriers and a few more clinic visits I started to gradually feel the benefits.
December now and I’m almost pain free and signed up for the gym – not bad for a 74 year old!
Thank you Rebecca, gave me my freedom back.
